Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Lumis ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

What Lumis does

Lumis is a multi-sensory alarm clock for iOS designed for deaf and hard-of-hearing users. It fires visual (screen flash, camera LED strobe), haptic (vibration), and audible alerts to help users wake up reliably. The App also provides countdown timers and a nightstand clock display.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Purchases and pricing

Lumis offers a free tier and a Pro upgrade available as a monthly subscription ($3.99/month), yearly subscription ($29.99/year), or one-time lifetime purchase ($79.99). All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• The lifetime purchase is a non-consumable in-app purchase. You pay once and it's yours permanently.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

No reliability guarantee

While Lumis is designed to be a reliable alarm system, we cannot guarantee that alarms will fire in every circumstance. Device settings (such as Do Not Disturb, Focus modes, or disabled vibration), low battery, or iOS restrictions may affect alarm delivery. Lumis should not be relied upon as the sole alarm in safety-critical situations.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Apple's terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Usage Rules set forth therein. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall govern to the extent of the conflict.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
