Privacy Policy

The short version

Lumis does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your alarms are stored entirely on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. We don't know who you are and we like it that way.

Information we collect

None. Lumis does not collect any personal information. We do not require an account, email address, phone number, or any form of registration to use the app. The app functions entirely on your device with no network communication.

Data storage

Lumis stores your alarm configurations and preferences locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults. This data is not synced to any cloud service and is not accessible to us or any third party. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed.

Device access

Lumis accesses the camera flash (LED torch), vibration motor, and audio output to deliver multi-sensory alarms. These are used only when an alarm or timer fires. The app does not access your photo library, contacts, location, microphone, or any other device data beyond what is needed for alarm functionality.

Third-party services

Lumis does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The only external services involved are:

• Apple App Store: purchase processing and app distribution, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit: in-app purchase verification, handled entirely by Apple on-device.

Children's privacy

Lumis does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, there are no special provisions needed for children's privacy.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page with a new effective date. Given that we collect no data, we do not anticipate significant changes.
